20th Annual ASN World Convention

Convention Information
The ASN World Convention welcomes proposals on a wide range of topics related to nationalism, ethnicity, ethnic conflict and national identity in several regional sections: The Balkans; Central Europe, Russia, Ukraine, Eurasia, the Caucasus, and Turkey/Greece/Cyprus. Cross-regional sections on nationalism and migration/diasporas also are welcomed. Disciplines represented include political science, history anthropology, sociology, international studies, security studies, geopolitics, area studies, economics, geography, sociolinguistics, literature, psychology, and related fields.
The World Convention also is inviting paper, panel, roundtable, or special presentation proposals related to: Ukraine, Russia & the World; Self-Determination and the State; History, Politics & Memory; Gender & Identity; and Transitional Justice & Minority Rights.
